Powerful. Inspirational. Moving. Caught us up and whirled us right into the story. My wife and I went on a date and we both loved it and have recommended to all our friends.

Best movie I've seen all year! Don't believe the reviewers, they never seem to like movies that promote love, grace and forgiveness and instead seem to love boring, evil or crazy movies that don't reflect reality outside of elitist Hollywood, Beverly Hills or Malibu. Excellent actors and Hounsou is Oscar worthy! Let's see if Hollywood gets it right this time but even if they don't, Mr. Hounsou you have earned your Oscar in the eyes of every audience attendee that has given this beautiful film a high rating. This film is based on a true story and the book is just as amazing, you can buy it at Amazon. Love, love, love this incredible movie and cheers to Rene and Greg for great performances too!!!

While I am not a fan of faith-based films (mainly for their poor quality), this one was excellent. The critics have become so jaded they can't even see a good story anymore. This film is not perfect, but extremely well done. To dismiss it for its virtue is to dismiss the truth behind its story in the first place. The original book is excellent, and this movie does a great job of respectfully reflecting it.
