My favorite film adaptation as it is so difficult to truly capture Shakespeare "on film" since Shakespeare should be on stage :-), yet this particular version captures the heart and soul of this tragic play. Especially memorable is Mercutio-blah, blah, blah!!!!

Watched it in Freshmen English, and loved it. Shakspeare was truly the most amazing writer of his time.

i just finished watching this movie in English, at first i thought it was goin to be boring, we all know the story of Romeo and Juliet, but this movie was so amazing and Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting did an amazing job
