Zeffirelli as usual made a wonderful and gorgeous film but the most important thing here is the music by Nino Rota

Er the whole purpose of the film is a tragic, heartthrobbing love story so comments such as 'Pass me the bucket' are stupid because it's pretty obvious that the film is like that. Favourite adaptation!
