American History X (1998)

Derek Vineyard is paroled after serving 3 years in prison for killing two African-American men. Through his brother, Danny Vineyard's narration, we learn that before going to prison, Derek was a skinhead and the leader of a violent white supremacist gang that committed acts of racial crime throughout L.A. and his actions greatly influenced Danny. Reformed and fresh out of prison, Derek severs contact with the gang and becomes determined to keep Danny from going down the same violent path as he did.

This would be among the top of my favorites films, hard subject matter but Gritty, Super Powerful Film, film direction and style so reflects its subject matter.and although this show hatred at its worst and it's sad consequences..there is also redemption and how karma can bite in the ass.

The Most memorable film i've ever seen. Ed Norton performance is just simply incredible. The message of the movie is one of my favorite ever , Thank you Tony Kaye .

One of my all time favorites. Shows how completely awesome Edward Norton is, and how many emotions he can play so wonderfully. The movie is so intense, but so touching. I'd reccomend it to anyone with an open mind.
