The film is a stimulating sharp turn away from storytelling conventions and a challenge for viewers who prefer narrative pabulum to dense, savory, chewy material. But it's well worth making the effort.

Denzel Washington is quite convincing as well as moving, here, as a beleaguered soul afflicted with Asperberger's syndrome.

I loved this movie. It was fabulously acted by Denzel. and it made you feel for his character. You feel yourself cheering him on, and wanting him to succeed in his mission to change society, but falling into weakness, and striving to go back to his soul's mission. This made you think, feel, wish, sorry for society, etc.

Loved it. Do yourself a favor and see this film. This is an amazing performance given by Washington - one you have never seen before by him. It is really interesting character study on morality, ethics and idealism. Really topical conversation at this moment in history. Masterclass given by this titan. Some critics have it real wrong and this one will be looked at later on and revered. And for the Nightcrawler lovers - this is a nice follow up to a gritty character piece. Hopefully this one will be mentioned a lot during awards time!
