Roman J. Israel, Esq. (2017)

Hard-nosed liberal lawyer Roman J. Israel has been fighting the good fight forever while others take the credit. I don't understand why this film is so poorly rated by critics. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It speaks the truth about the ills of the criminal justice system. It is also entertaining at the same time.

I read many reviews before viewing the movie and I still enjoyed it thoroughly. Both Denzel and Colin acted excellently and the movie was intriguing and enjoyable.

I loved this movie. It was fabulously acted by Denzel. and it made you feel for his character. You feel yourself cheering him on, and wanting him to succeed in his mission to change society, but falling into weakness, and striving to go back to his soul's mission. This made you think, feel, wish, sorry for society, etc.

Just purity in trying to make a change to man kind vs running for what drives this world.... Money!! Didn't the Beatles sing: There's nothing you can know that isn't known Nothing you can see that isn't shown There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.. All you need is love, all you need is love All you need is love, love, love is all you need. but we fight for not love but money and power.. anyways I'm rambling

Denzel Washington's gave a spectacular performance in this film. The character that he portrayed was a departure from his previous work.
