Tried to fit far too much stuff in to the run time that nothing really gets to shine before we move on to the next set piece. There are a lot of decisions that make you scratch your head on why they decided to move the plot on that direction. There were some good moments that were unfortunately overshadowed by far too many disappointing ones. Missing characters, missing enemies, missing areas, and sadly missed opportunity.

Un cúmulo de cosas sin sentido en hora y media, lejos de lo que ofrecen los videojuegos 1 y 2. El guión se perdió en algún sitio donde jamás lo encontraron, pues la historia van pasando cosas inconexas. El casting de personajes es lamentable y muy planos (cualquier parecido con los personajes es mera casualidad). Tampoco esperaba mucho de un director que su media en las películas es bastante mediocre y con esta sigue en su senda habitual. Tiene algún guiño al videojuego bonito, como los escenarios, pero diría que es de largo la peor película de la saga Resident Evil. Se puede hacer una película de “bajo presupuesto” pero que sea coherente al menos con lo que quiera contar.

The competence of the action sequences compensates somewhat for the underlying lack of wit or humour throughout, unless you count the smile-inducing call backs to ancient 90s technology.
