By the time the climax with a big CGI beastie arrives and basically ends before it begins, the slightly unsatisfying feelings of Raccoon City become cemented.

The only good thing about this adoptation is Claire actress, she is pretty hot. Other cast is poorly selected. Script is awful. Fanservice is awkward. Whole movie feels like a budget Bmovie.

Out of respect for the creators who were able to recreate the atmosphere of the games, great respect. The film is good, I hope Sony and the production team will work better on the sequel. The timekeeping of 1 hour 40 minutes is quite small, considering that the film covers the events of the first 3 games. As a fan, I'm happy with the movie. If I were an ordinary viewer, I would hardly appreciate it. Please work on Leon) He is very strange.

Such a wonderful adaptation of a video game I grew up playing. A couple of things were off compared to the video game, but none the less kept majorly true to the whole franchise. If you're a fan of resident evil you will enjoy the plethora of memories from playing the games when they first came out.

Garbled mess of a movie that both pays fan service with painstakingly recreated scenes from the games, but at the same time dumps all over the characters, locations and timelines from the games which feels like a massive f£@k you to those same fans. The occasional jump scare, but on the whole not as scary as it could and should have been.
