'Reach Me' is the sort of movie where careers go to die.

Now normally I don't write reviews for movies, even if it is my favorite movie, (the good the bad and the ugly) but I felt compelled to write a review after seeing the critics reviews, which look more like a personal hatred for the director rather than the movie itself. So in order to give Reach Me a chance I am writing this review in the hopes that others will see it and watch the film to decide for themselves. Overall I loved the movie, I loved the fact that there were many different characters each with their own backstories, motives, and personal style that they used in order to reach their goals. At times during certain scenes the music would change suddenly, but it wasn't a bother and did not deter me from enjoying these moments. Quite often it would make the scene better simply because the music was needed for a different character. Watch the movie.

What a fantastic film! I have been a huge fan of John Herzfeld ever since I saw 2 Days in the Valley all the way back in 1997 and I am proud to say that 17 years later, he delivers yet again! A fantastic story about intertwining lives bolstered by fabulous performances by the entire cast (especially Sylvester Stallone), this is one indie film that shouldn't be missed!

This whole movie is crazy, with all sorts of well-known folks stumbling and bumbling about in search of a character. At times Reach Me is undeniably intriguing, mostly because it’s just so weird and disconnected. Eventually, though, it just becomes tiresome.
