Pusher III (2005)

Meilleur que le 2ème, on suit ici le personnage de Milo, le dealer. Il est aujourd'hui vieillissant, et doit faire face à la nouvelle génération de dealers, à ses problèmes de drogues, et à sa fille à la personnalité bien trempée. C'est dommage car les liens les plus intéressants (de Milo à son gendre surtout) sont tout juste ébauchés. Refn s'en sort avec une pirouette scénaristique (merci Radovan) mais nous sert une scène bien gore pour compenser. Un bon film noir, mais on est encore très loin de la puissance de Pusher, premier du nom.

Director, Nicolas Winding Refn saves the best one in the series for last. I Am The Angel of Death is the finest film in the trilogy, its dark, edgy, stylish and surprisingly effective piece of work that goes from the gritty and dirty underworld to the yearning for escape and recovery. A film that makes you take a hard gut-punch that's cruel and nasty. A tough, hard-boiled and very addictive thriller. Zlatko Burik gives a brilliant and truly absorbing performance, his villain Milo is more grounded and compelling in this film, you have sympathy for him and really hope he makes it through. A powerful and engrossing classic. This series is some to the finest and darkest work about the crime underworld ever,

Apesar do final decepcionante (para mim, pelo menos), este dia na vida de Milo, mini-drug lord moldavo, estÃ¡ repleto de pequenos grandes momentos. Entre cozinhar para a festa da filha, ir a reuniÃµes de toxicodependentes anÃ³nimos e negociar com albaneses, turcos e polacos, a vida nÃ£o estÃ¡ fÃ¡cil nem para os traficantes!

Too fucking good. Couldn't help but give it five stars. Though it has the most goriest scene I've ever seen, this is very well shot, chopped and directed by one of my favorites NWR.
