Tarantino's underrated masterpiece. It's his most mature and subtle piece of work that perfectly blends all of its elements without one piece standing out from the whole. It's full of heart, a sweet and tender love story, memorable dialogue and a story that just comes together beautifully

Not what you expect from Tarantino, given that he is known for writing original material, but this is a classic piece of neo-blaxploitation with superb performances from Grier, Jackson, Forster and De Niro. Should be higher on the Tomatometer!!

One of Tarantino's best film that shows his Maturity in his directorial style and writing. This is his most mature film up to date. Characters actually sounds like real people, not like video store nerds, or Tarantino himself. The characters are 3 dimensional and the story is engaging at a addictive level. And the opening title of the film with the song Across 110th Street is one of the most memorable film opening that Ive seen in a while.

Probably QT'S most low key movie and underated...but a great crime thriller with a great cast!

Absolute masterpiece. Maybe Tarantino's best. Cast is amazing to boot.
