another hero of mine, the self taught director Nicolas Winding Refn, who manages to mix realisame with great story telling, his films feel like your on a rollercoster in to the depth of hell, and is cooler then all your gangerster no.1 and lockstocks,

Way ahead of its time. I continue to be impressed by Scandinavian cinema. Raw, real, edge of your seat thriller about a small-time drug dealer who falls into debt and so...into a shit load of trouble real fast. Brilliant and perfectly formed. Can't wait to see the next two parts of the trilogy. The director was only 24 when he shot this!!!!!!!

One of the best films I've seen in years. Relied completely on the story - simple camera, no effects or anything. Great acting, soundtrack + superb ending!! 2 sequels as well :D can't wait to see them!
