No shame that Michael Dowd fella. Not even 'Serpico' would stop the dirtiest cop in New York from treating the streets like the wild west. I really hope this gets made into a film and with Yann Demange rumoured to direct and the right cast in place, it could be a classic. I can't get over some of his antics. Makes Harvey Kietel's 'Bad Lieutenant' look like Chief Wiggum.

Dowd's account to camera of his misdeeds is every bit as audacious as his criminal acts. A born raconteur, he pulls the viewer in just as he did to his various accomplices.

A very entertaining documentary narrated by the main players themselves. Cop turned drug trafficker Michael Dowd doesn't hold anything back and neither does anyone else. A real glimpse into cocaine induced cop corruption of the 80s.

Riveting stuff through and through. Liked the score and other such touches, but ultimately - there's not much finessing needed at all with characters like these.
