Pigsty (1969)

Two dramatic stories. In an undetermined past, a young cannibal (who killed his own father) is condemned to be torn to pieces by some wild beasts. In the second story, Julian, the young son of a post-war German industrialist, is on the way to lie down with his farm's pigs, because he doesn't like human relationships.

i liked the 2 story structure, and the whole feeling of the film. as usual, we are presented with some of passolini's favourite themes: the anti-bourgeoise sentiment, sexuality... i loved how julian prefered the company of pigs and that of people, he was by far my favourite character. i liked him much more than the cannibal in the other story. btw, that volcanic landscape is amazing! where was it filmed? it gives the story an even more apocaliptic feeling. all in all, i would say this is good, but not amazing.
