Not a good movie vehicle for either of these talented actors, a bit of an 80's cliche.

John Travolta + Full body leotards + Bad acting and dialogue = This unforgiving mess.

Rolling Stone reporter, decides to do a story about how health clubs are the singles bars of the 80s.

This is one of the movies you would throw in the time capsule to tell future generations what the 80's were like. This movie is sooo 80's: the bad music, the leg warmers, the hair, etc. Although I did like Jaime Lee Curtis in this movie (but I like Jaime Lee in everything). Travolta embarrasses himself, which he did a lot around this time in his career. Loved the mousse John.

With some laughable moments, and more than a few poor scenes it doesn't help that the films plot workthrough is mis-handled. It took Travolta a decade to recover from this tripe.
