La trama es un poco aburrida realmente lo interesante es el personaje de Pacino, quien se lució llevando a cabo esta personificación.

Granted, the acting was pretty good, but the story lacked punch. The foreshadowing was way too overdone, and you could see the climax from a mile away. It was meant to be manipulative, to draw you into the character, make you relate, but it couldn't, considering the main character's inconsistency on matters of truth and justice. This movie tried to have the cake and eat it too, and in the end it succeeded in neither. Go see Citizen Kane - supposedly Welles accomplishes what Algrant could not.

Worth watching for Pacino's hollow-eyed, full-bodied performance and for the strong supporting cast surrounding him.

A very uninteresting picture. Pacino just tries way to hard and he starts to get irritating. Kim Bassinger is wasted. It is completely forgettable. **/**** Al Pacino is the greatest over-actor there is.
