Um dos filmes da minha adolescencia. Alem disso na minha opinao o melhor filme biografico que vi ate hoje, sobre o carismatico Jim Morrison e a sua banda, "the Doors"

Val Kilmer perfectly channels Van Morrison in this intense, psychedelic film. Perfect casting (including a fantastic cameo from Crispin Glover as Andy Warhol), great music, a perfect script, and some of the best cinematography. It's a real trip and a perfect film about not just The Doors and Morrison, but the 60's as well.

This is my favorite movie of all time, I can say that at the drop of a hat, because The Doors are my favorite of all time. Now I'm trying not to be biased in this review, but denying Val Kilmer's extraordinary performance? that's worse than the original sin in my book! The man not only personified the "God of Rock...and (0(k", he EMBODIED Jim Morrison, a heartbroken poet that burned in the maddened flames of his own passion and desire.
