If nothing else, (and I cannot fathom anyone who wouldn't be moved by this movie) walk away with this profound line: "It's so much easier to be happy. It's so much easier to choose to love the things that you have, instead of always yearning for what you're missing, or what it is that you're imagining you're missing. It is so much more peaceful." ---Kate Gulden (Meryl Streep). This film was emotional and from the perspective of someone who lived with and lost a loved one to cancer, it rings uncomforatbly close to home but reminds me that I still have a lot of healing and living to do.

It's a quite difficult task to originally create a story as this, as i think and Anna Quilden has made it as if you are looking at something really going on out there. The complexity of the emotions how they are tackled through series of events....even the small ones, they were all amazing. Even though Kate stands as a simple soul, she is the strongest mind in the story. And Meryl Streep perfectly moulds out the character and I'm pretty sure no one else can act it out that way. Her understanding of life is what most of the people are missing. That intuition of psychology has a great impact on the feel of the story. And i think that was amazing.

So sad, So good, So touching. I love the character of Kate Gulden and Streep plays her phenomenally. William Hurt does a perfect job of making the audience hate his character (in a good way).

One of the most moving stories on film I have ever seen. Everything Meryl does is gold. She was robbed for the Oscar that year.
