Brad and Kate have made something of an art form out of avoiding their families during the holidays, but this year their foolproof plan is about go bust -- big time. Perfect, a bit stupid sometimes, Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau are hilarious but Reese Witherspoon is anoying as always, but this is a very good christmas movie, recommeded 100%.

It's "Couple's Retreat" Holiday-style; in that it does achieve to intelligently dig at your own relationships wether with family, partner or self... but with enough key-jiggling to distract you from it. In the end; it started feeling a little preachy... because all of a sudden, everyone behaved properly in front of their family.. Probably it's best summarized by the phrase, "You can't spell families without lies"... and you can't spell Four Christmases without "babies-throws up twice and it's the best part of the movie". lol

Not for kids and has some poor writing (like the Taboo scene where she uses all references from her past when she has clearly never shared any of her past then gets angry that he doesnâ(TM)t guess the answer), but overall a funny movie.

Funniest christmas movie I've ever seen. I don't understand the hate at all. Vaughn is funny as hell and Reese Witherspoon is great too (also, REALLY hot :P )

This is usually where I write something smug and condescending about Vince Vaughn movies and his inability to be play anyone but himself. Drum roll: this is no different. I mean, every movie? Come on. There were a few moments - I'll give them that. Actually, the first act was actually passable. The rest, however, was a train wreck of crappy gags and predictable anecdotes regarding cliched Christmas family issues. Three words: Re Tard Ed
