a great and nostalgic look at two english comedy greats peter cook and dudley moore and there really bad working relationship, and solo careers, it sems there working ways just dident gel, and many nights of bad stage performance, there up and downs and hi life, cooks jealousy at moores hollywood career, and possibly, a criticly better career. rhys fans, as cook is superb, a welshman nailing cooks english acent, and charactor, also aidan mcardle as moore, again nailing his charactor, what starts off as possibly a film about cooke soon turns into a film about both, and moore and cooke getting equal share of screen time, the film covers good ground, and although like all biographies, events probely changed, charactors created, me not being the biggest fan of the two, and not knowing much, i certainly was informed, and am certainly interested exploring there work more, lots of cook and moore work getting recreated here, and although im not best to judge, seems genuin and looks good,

Rhys Ifans and Aidan McArdle provide two very believable performances as satirists Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. This is a studied and compassionate portrayal. The film is pretty engrossing, well paced and very watchable. You don't have to be a fan of the comics to enjoy this biographical piece as an interesting story in its own right.

Biopic of the late, great Peter Cook & Dudley Moore. Amazing casting with both Rhys Ifans & Aidan McArdle being so good you forget that they are actors playing Pete & Dud. Jonathan Miller & Alan Bennett are also portrayed very well. Quite sad in parts but also very funny & not afraid to show the darker side which added to Peter Cook's edge.

Always enjoyed Pete and Dud... went into this not knowing what to expect - enjoyed it a lot. Maybe a little superficial in some areas but gives a good overall feel for their off-screen relationship.

This true-to-life dramatization of the comedy double act Peter Cook and Dudley Moore is notable mainly for Rhys Ifans' remarkable performance. He IS Peter Cook! The witty and insightful script is full of his characteristically surreal barbs and satire, and shows the behind the scenes squabbling and resentments that show that once again, genius and madness seem to go hand in hand. The post-modern device of having a black and white Pete and Dud commentating on the story is more annoying than amusing, but otherwise, a fine bio pic.
