Storyline is meh, seen that before. Acting is meh, didn't touch my heart. I wish they'd done a better job authenticating the setting relative to time in New York. The only part I enjoy is perhaps the childhood innocence, and their care for one another in such early age.

It's possible that there's a worse movie tangentially related to 9-11 than But Always, though I don't advise seeking one out.

Snow Zou’s directorial debut does have a few noteworthy attributes: attractive stars, sun-dappled cinematography and an audacious payoff.

It's like watching a 5 minutes MV that converted into a 105 minutes soulless drama..

Simon Abrams 04 Sep 2014

A trite, and slavishly inoffensive romantic drama.
