A good-looking but anecdotally slight dramedy about life and lifestyles in Los Angeles's hip Silver Lake district.

Olivia Thirby plays Martine a free-spirted NYC film student who moves into the guesthouse of a California couple to complete her project and instantly causes trouble within the household by sleeping with the husband Peter (John Krasinski) and his assistant David. Typical indie films with uninteresting characters and an even more uninteresting plot.

This was probably really mediocre (it really was) but everyone is sexy in this film so how can I give it any less than three stars? This was my first foray into the much-hyped Lena Dunham - I wasn't bothered by the script but it was pretty forgettable. What was the point? An exercise in sexual tension? I did love how quickly Jon Krasinski (and really all the men) instantly revealed themselves to be gross, overbearing and boring though. Oh, the flightiness of temptation! Strike not my beloved Jim!

The film is very real. just interesting enough to keep you watching, but not overly exciting. very disappointing ending to it...it didn't give the movie any kind of substance. very unsatisfying.
