Well, after the first two, I just had to watch the third! Could be the first Trilogy for films!

A terrible horror flick that I liked anyway. Scientists speed up evolution to turn the gill monster human. The manfish is almost likable. Ultimately, the film is not.

Made in 1956.Third and final installement in the 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' series,A Group of Scientists go out to catch The Infamous Gill Man,in a fight the Gill Man is badly burnt and the scientists take his body and try to revive him but in the process they give him the ability to breath air and his gills are removed,he's now kept in captivity and out of the water,he is now a land creature.U Have to give the makers some credit for trying something different and not repeating what happened in the first 2 films althouh i really am not a fan of the Gill Man's new look as a humanoid creature,give me the ol' Gill Man anyday,A good film.

By far the weakest film in the Creature trilogy. There is a lot more they could have done with the idea and instead neglected for boring science talk, which is stereotypical of a 50's sci-fi movie. Too bad that it disintegrates to that, though it probably features the best ending of all 3 films.

My favorite moment in this may be when a group of environmental scientists are relieved when they find out the woman on their boat was just shooting random sharks for no other reason than the sheer fun of it (instead of shooting something else I guess). Yes, once again scientists seek out the Gill-Man, in order to capture and study it...having learned nothing from the disaster it was the last time that happened. This one can be a bit dull and boring, but it has some moments. The Gill-Man gets burned alive and the humans save his life by removing his gills and giving him the capability to breath air...which somehow makes him slowly turn into a man (that's right breathing air turns your fin hands into fingered hands). But whatever...the plot is idiotic, but you may find something in this final Gill-Man feature, the last great monster in the Universal canon.
