A very unique horror movie of its kind! Made waaaaay before 28 Days Later and Resident Evil 4, there were 'zombies' running and killing their victims with weapons. And by 'zombies', I actually mean contaminated people, yet I can imagine most people would mistake for them easily by their ghoulish appearance. When you compare to other great zombie movies like Zombi 2 or Dawn of the Dead, Nightmare City's probably the most underrated and deserves more attention. It's odd at parts (and the last couple of minutes might put you off for a while), but still worth watching for the suspense, atmosphere and gore Italian b movies are made of.

This movie opens with a plane landing and then a fuck load of running zombies armed with knives, clubs and uzis come charging out, with make up effects that seem to consist of actors with pancakes on their faces, in no time at all you are left in no doubt what to expect, and what you should expect is a shit load of gory fun. I seriously enjoyed this insanely silly, mental film.

One of the first films, apart from Romero himself, to break the classic zombie mould to become one of the first and best films in the 'Infected' sub-genre. Think a cheesy but awesome Italian 28 Days Later set in the 80's and you have a tiny slice of fried gold.

A really fun gaillo Zombie flick. Zombies are a radioactive/problem solving kind. The movie would make a great drinking game. A shot every time a woman is stabbed in her chest. A drink every time someone is bitten in the neck. For a "bad" zombie movie, this one's a lot of fun.
