This was a very fun, well-acted thriller when it came out. Not just Depp and Walken, who are two of the best actors ever, in their respective ways, but also from Walken's equally menacing lady partner. I don't remember who she was, but her performance made me really scared when I saw it as a kid.Good stuff.

This movie goes where virtually no film has ever gone. Unlike many movies where weeks, months, or even years are compressed into a two hour story (making for very fragmented flow), Nick of Time takes a 90-minute plot and turns it into, guess what, a 90-minute movie. Christopher Walken plays guess what, a scary bad guy. He finds Johnny Depp's character getting off a train with his daughter and offers a deal (well, not really a deal since it's something I'd never want to be offered). Kill the governor in the next hour and a half, or your daughter dies. It's a moral play. Can a guy who would never hurt a fly go so far as to knock off a public figure in order to save his family?

Smart, edgy action-thriller unlike anything I could ever have expected from Johnny Depp. Great performance from Christopher Walken as the film's antagonist...a role he plays all to well. This film is just another good example of Depp's ability to play a wide variety of characters.

I love Johnny Depp! This is a great movie!
