Great documentary follow up to "The Conjuring". It'll split everyone who watches it 50/50 on whether you'll believe that Amityville was actually haunted or not. It's creepy and very realistic. Plus the real Lorraine Warren, that was featured in "The Conjuring" and investigated the Amityville haunting, is in a good chunk of the movie. Found it for $10 new, def worth it!

A brilliant documentary about the real life amytiville horror, the differing viewpoints and Daniel Lutz's haunted vision of what his parents put him through will remain with you for a long time afterwards.

I'm glad this documentary was released. It comes to prove that this whole thing was a shamed to begin with. Stories and allegations that almost made an industry for money mongering frauds surrounding this house out of books and movie deals. Daniel Lutz is really no different from his parents. It was just time for another Lutz to cash in.

My Amityville horror is disturbing in a panormal sense, but more importantly in a psychological sense. The film's a character study on Daniel Lutz, who no matter what happened in the house is a highly disturbed man. He's also highly well spoken, as pointed out in the film, which makes him believable. I can understand why atleast half the people who watch this won't care for it, but this is one of the scariest things I've seen in a long time. The scene where Danny and Lorraine start getting altercation about people being atheist, is highly uncomfortable and awkward. Director Eric Walter needs work, since it didn't feel like he was running it, but overall it's a great debut, with plenty of creepy moments.

Daniel Lutz is such an annoying/unpleasant person whose presence would even make Werner Hertzog's documentaries unwatchable.
