Jack is a three-year-old chimpanzee who has been the subject of a long-term experiment by Dr. Kendall, a researcher who been teaching Jack to communicate through sign language. Jack scrambles onto the ice in the midst of practice for Steven's junior league hockey team, and he and his teammates discover the monkey has a natural talent for the game.

For juvenile filmgoers and families in search of a more-than-twice-told tale with uplifting messages about the rewards of perseverance, the virtues of animals and acceptance of the handicapped, MVP will do.

A good family movie. I have to say that this is one of the strangest movie I have ever seen. The cover really does not convey the retina burning weirdness that is MVP.

WOW. This movie is AMAZING. I could go on forever about it. I really hope the NHL starts to allow monkeys to play in it.
