I just didn't get this one. For all the fuss and hype I was expecting something REALLY nasty, but was let down quite badly. I got an "unrated directors cut" from Denmark (I think) and it just seemed abit tame. OK, so slicing up the kids was abit extreme, but Hosetl 2 was far nastier in my opinion (the lady in the bath in that film was very nasty), but this just left me wanting. The plot was non-existant, the acting was auful and it was too dark in some places to make anything out. Maby I've seen too many gore movies to be bothered by this sort of thing now, but I just felt it didn't justify all the hype. Shame, as the trailers made it look good.

WOW! I could not dig the murderer at all, he was completely bonkers, totally un-american, an unlovable serial killer (if there ever was one.) I mean this movie has blood-sprays and seriously cool ideas for I guess slasher-film-esque deaths. If anyone ever ends up re-using the ol' 'cut-her-throat-while-other-girl-kisses-your-back', well, they'll have to say, "Yeah, I watched Murder-Set-Pieces, and I loved it."

I just didn't get into this. It's been a while since I've see n this but I remember not liking it a lot. I have heard the unrated version is much better. so who knows?
