AVH: Alien vs. Hunter (2007)

A journalist named Lee Custler (William Katt) is out jogging when a flying object passes behind him and crashes. Sheriff Joel Armstrong (Collin Brock) picks him up and they go to check it out. They find an abandoned caravan close to where the object crashed. As they discover the object and realize it is a spaceship, an Alien emerges. The Alien (resembling a giant spider with a lizard-like head and torso) then chases them, after which Lee flees to the car. However Armstrong makes a stand, trips, falls and is killed by the Alien that then leaves. A terrified Tammy finds Lee and they call the local authorities but their car is destroyed by the Alien.

An alien/spider hybrid wreaks havoc and then a guy in a ridiculous looking costume comes to hunt it. I'm not sure the plot itself could be any worse.

An Alien vs. Predator rip-off made with a very low budget and poor film making skills. The story is stupid. The acting is God-awfully bad. The CGI is embarrassingly awful. And the cinematography is very unprofessional, many characters heads and bodies are cut off from the frames. The only redeeming quality this movie has is it gives a lot of unintentional laughs for all of it's faults, especially the CGI and acting. This movie is so bad that it makes both Alien vs. Predator movies seem like masterpieces.

A spaceship crashes and these spiders with heads that look like peanut shells escape. Then some lad who looks like Master Chief (from Halo) except with a fish bowl on his head and a gun that makes funky PEW PEW! noises shows up. Throw in some people into the mix to fight the alien spider things and the fish bowl dude and you have Alien Versus Hunter. This piece of crap was made on the cheap to be a knock off of the abysmal Alien Versus Predator Requim. Sadly, it manages to be much much worse than AVPR (no small feat considering that was awful). Totally devoid of exciting action scenes, likeable characters or plot that even resembles something interesting, this film fails on virtually every concievable level. I say this as someone who enjoys the odd stupid sci-fi B movie. Unfortunately Alien Versus Hunter lacks the charm and sense of self ridiculing irony that makes so bad its good movies watchable. AVOID.

HAHAHA. Where to being? Lets start out by saing this was the worst movie I have ever seen. I have honestly seen better acting in porn and their acting even sucks (pardon the pun). It was shot in only 3 locations with different angles. the reason I gave it for stars is because I found myself want to watch more just because it made me laugh so hard. It's completely awful and I would only recommend it if you are clinically insane or just looking for something to make fun of for the rest of your life.

B-grade movie royalty William Katt and DeDee Pfeiffer hit an all-time career low in this incomprehensibly awful and ultra cheap ($500,000 to make) 'Alien vs. Predator' rip-off. Katt is particularly atrocious whilst Pfeiffer shines alongside annoying, talentless nobodies. Some of the (otherwise ordinary) special effects are attention-grabbing and the clever twist at the end stop this from being a complete write-off.
