a modern vampire story with a good story with good actors but crappy sound

Its Johnny Rico/Tarazan like you've never seen him before. The only that could've made this movie better is Billy Zane. This movie was way better than I thought it would be. I sorta went on a streak of vampire movies and this one caught my eye, by the time i finally got it in th email i was off my kick after I saw this HORRIBLE vampire movie, [u]The Vampire Journals[/u]. Kim Catrall is in this too, and don't forget the priest from [u]End of Days[/u]. The crypts are HILARIOUS in this! If given the opportunity, this movie is definetly worth watching. It has got some really funny shit in it and a storyline thats at least decent. It certainly has it's moments anyways. :up: is what this movie earns. Good fun vampire movie.

Richard Elfman and Matthew Bright make a wonderful and deeply sleazy team. While this movie is terribly mismarketed as a BUFFY/BLADE rip-off, this movie seems to make fun of the Anne Rice school of sexy goth vampires. Everything about this movie is so absurd and rediculous, it's almost impossible to take any given scene seriously. If you're looking for a movie to watch while getting drunk with friends, this is an excellent choice. I'm shocked that this movie hasn't found the same cult following as Elfman's earlier film, FORBIDDEN ZONE. Ah well, it's a diamond in the rough, I love movies like this.
