the remake may have the special effects but this early version has a better telling of the source material. a classic sci film that is still good to this day. dated yes but never dull.

This is the perfect sci-fi movie. How many sci-fi movies and tv series snatched up the idea of having space ships hover over all parts of the globe simultaneously? V, the series, Independance Day... This movie is phenominal.

An absolute classic! This was alot more entertaining than the remake which i saw first. This is also a little more true to the book although the book takes place in victorian england. The effects in this were way ahead of their time!

Based on the classic book by H.G. Wells. It changes a few things from the book for sure, but it works! Very of it's time.

Classic 50's Sci Fi. One of my favourite movies to watch in the summer.
