There is one thing which Matsuko would never know is that the root of her whole life tragedy is she immersed herself in every possible affection, even gave up her self-esteen to gain that worthless love. So learn to love yourself first and then love someone else.

I don't speak Japanese, and I watched this movie without English subtitles. But I still loved it. The story is pretty straight-forward, but the sets and characters are amazing.
