Masculin Féminin (1966)

Paul, a young idealist trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life, takes a job interviewing people for a marketing research firm. He moves in with aspiring pop singer Madeleine. Paul, however, is disillusioned by the growing commercialism in society, while Madeleine just wants to be successful. The story is told in a series of 15 unrelated vignettes.

Godard is one of a few Sophisticated Director, he should called this masterpiece " The Children of Marx and Coca-Cola" or maybe the falling of bourgeoisie.

My favorite Godard and maybe the only French movie about 60s music scene. Features cameos of Brigitte Bardot, Francoise Hardy and Mickey Baker (producer in the recording studio).

Recommend you watch this film, its one of my favourite Godard films. THOSE EVIL GIRLS poor Paul.

May not have aged any better than Godard's other films of the period, but that doesn't mean Paul and company don't continue to ask questions and spout the opinions of the newly enlightened.

Godard not only makes up for the vague approach of Weekend, but delivers an entirely new argument of which he knows everything about. Best of all, this time, the cast does too.
