Maleficent (2014)

A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. She rises to be the land's fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal – an act that begins to turn her heart into stone. Simply the best Disney film ever, fantastic discussion piece for children and adults on good vs evil, and the ability to change, no individual is just one or the other!

The special effects and impressive as is Angelina Jolie's performance. The movie's battle scenes make the message clear without the use of blood, guts, and gore which is refreshing from a parent's perspective. It is a creative twist on the fairy tale with an important theme/message focused on greed and the danger of letter hate comsume you and seeking revenge.

Great movie. Angelina is just amazing. This movie is a great family film. It's great for kids but it's also entertaining for older people.
