December Boys (2007)

For many years, four teenage orphans at an Australian outback convent have watched their younger comrades find new parents, and realize that they may never be adopted. This movie was very subjective, it was one of those "either ya like it or you don't" kind of things. i thought the cinematography was fantastic, and the acting from boys so young was great! a real refresher.

A slow burner that ultimately rewards the patient viewer. Daniel Radcliffe proves he can act. Uniformly solid performances from all.

I thought this was a great film. Loved Max Cullen's narration. Good seeing Daniel Radcliffe out of the Harry Potter role. I think though, that Daniel really needs to beef up physically for the next two Harry Potter films - he's far too skinny for a guy his age.

Beautiful film. wonderful performances. i much perfer Daniel Radcliffe in something like this than Harry Potter even though i love the HP series (film not books) and even though you can't really compare this to Harry Potter at all but still i loved it.
