Lurking Fear (1994)

The storm-swept and depopulated town of Leffert's Corners has been terrorized for decades by grotesque creatures that breed in the depths beneath the local cemetery. A group of townspeople have hatched a last-ditch plan to destroy the ghoul-infested graveyard, but their mission is interrupted by the arrival of a band of violent thieves intent on retrieving money hidden in one of the graves.

A quite entertaining, but very loose H.P. Lovecraft adaptation--Not vintage Lovecraft, but a good show!!

Loved this movie when I saw it years ago, a great b-movie romp. Watch it for drunken Jeffrey Combs as a triple feature with The Re-animator and From Beyond.

Preceding From Dusk Till Dawn by two years, Lurking Fear (1994) performs a similar trick... only it does it on a budget and, you won't be surprised to hear, not nearly as well.

This was a fairly well done film from Full Moon. Jeffrey Combs is always good and creepy. A group of people are holed up at a church while being attacked by a creature underground. Good special effects and a decent story help it go by quickly.
