After losing contact with Earth, Astronaut Lee Miller becomes stranded in orbit alone aboard the International Space Station. Excellent example of Hard Science Fiction. A wonderful, if slightly depressing exploration of the need of human to human contact with a beautiful setting. Hard to follow at times, but if you're as into your Hard SciFi as you should be, this movie is for you.

Love explores the psychological need for human connection in the midst of an end-of-the-world scenario. A low-budget sci-fi movie, it is more reminiscent of movies like "Moon" and "2001: A Space Odyssey." Its broad scenes and deliberately ambiguous tone may frustrate the more linear oriented movie-goer, but I would highly recommend checking this film out, Its haunting eerie tone will offer something that you don't get much from the movie going experience: a pure, unadulterated emotional response.

Made for less than a million, but a film with huge ambition and scope. William Eubank writes and directs the futuristic story of Astronaut Lee Miller who has to battle to keep his sanity after being stranded on an International Space Station. The film is exquisite to look at, successfully tying in the story of space with the journal of a civil war soldier. This ambitious film is about the connections between humans that sustains us and the effect of loss of connection and memory.

The majority of Love is boring and uneventful, but thinking and digging deeper, Love is extremely creative in its concept. Love uses a man's isolation in space to allude to human relationship, and how love is what makes us sane human. Eubank does a brilliant job as the film is both beautiful and cinematographically innovative. Despite the limited setting, every shot in the movie seems to be different. Upon reading how the setting came about, it is even more impressive. Unfortunately, the movie is lost in its pragmatism. Ideas are there but at the same time they are so hard to grasp and apprehend. How the film is constructed and the storyline itself is confusing and easily viewers. Nevertheless, a daring effort, but I'm not sure if it could be considered as a successful one.
