This is not your typical Ken Loach Movie.Not so depressing ,surreal but really funny and sad and uplifting in equal measures. Dont be put off by the football link , this is a movie for the masses.One of his best.

I cannot wait for Ken Loach's next film, this one was absolutely wonderful. "Looking for Eric" was hilarious with a deep and meaningful plot line. Definitely refreshing to see a perfect balance of comedy and drama portrayed in a culturally rich British town, that is so appropriately opportune with the current World Cup. A must watch!

A funny Ken Loach, that's new ! Though you can still feel his touch on it. Nice self-mockery from Cantona, taking the piss out of his own habit to make unclear proverbs and sentences. A bit of an ode to football and fans sometimes, but that's nicely done.
