Interesting film about life, friendship and faith.

Ken Loach has come up with an upbeat story about a man who is at his wits end with life.

"I am not a man. I am Cantona!" :D A bit more lightewight for being Ken Loach, but the serious stuff is still present somewhat. Super charming little heart warmer, and King Cantona is ace.

Just back from seeing Looking for Eric and thought it was excellent. There's a great flow between Eric Bishop (Steve Evets) and Eric Cantona as his imaginary mentor. All of the main characters in the film and their relationships with Eric are really well developed, especially the one with his ex wife. The film has its dark side but also some really funny parts particularly in the exchanges between Eric and Eric C and also between Eric's supportive workmates. Definitely worth seeing if you get a chance.
