A phenomenal story of lonely love and transformation. Ryan Gosling is brilliant as Lars. Truly a magnificent film.

A comedy without any jokes, and thats because it takes its premise seriously which is what creates the laughs. Ryan Gosling is simply fantastic in this movie and in a role that is totally unexpected. A really different and quirky movie with a lot of heart and tenderness about it even though it does leave you sad at certain times. Good movie and I would recommend it.

"Lars and the Real Girl" may not be the racy comedy it could have been, but that's why it works. It's sweet, subtle and very emotional; my mother found herself crying at the end. You might too.
