Jeff Bridge's performance as actor AND musician is can quench the thirst of any weary soul. He should've gotten an Oscar. No...wait a minute: He actually did! Heee haw!!!

This is a story that's been told a thousand times, sometimes with Kris Kristofferson in it, and sometimes not, and it just doesn't bring anything new to the party.

A very loaded title it seems. This man, Bad Blake, has this passion around which he lives - like many musicians - which, by outsiders is often called crazy, unrecognized. It's recognized only, when the light is shining a little differently. Only when there is succes (like in Tommy Sweet) something that people do recognize, when the passion is awarded by succes, money, cheering etc. But when it is just passion, people don't recognize it. Except when it is portrayed in a movie like this, and we can feel why Blake would act out of his crazy heart. But not the people inside the world of this movie, This ain't no place for the weary kind.
