awsum muvee..very enticing n a must wtch for all..kareena's luked sooperb..saif 's hot as usual..n the chem is too gud..keeps yu at the edge of yr seats..!! moral of the muvee--neva trust a guy..;)

KURBAAN is one the most powerful film to come out of the Hindi film industry in 2009, so far. The film has a captivating plot, gripping screenplay, super performances and a climax that shakes you up completely. Kareena n Saif looks sexy together. But the movie lacked the simplicity and the message that NEWYORK had.

I didn't know what the premise of this film was when i was going into it. I rather enjoyed the beginning, the move to New York, meeting the neighbors and the panicked muslim wife...at this time I was still hopeful for a good flick..perhaps a social commentary on the mindset of a 'good normal muslim' and the extremist mindset or exploring muslim life in american and different viewpoints etc etc...but then the 'twist' happened and the movie switched from drama to thriller/action...and from decent to..what the fuck is this shit? After the twist, the story was a confused mess and was a complete chore to watch. I don't understand why they choose to take this direction. I do wanna say the acting was good, especially that of Vivek Oberoi but the ridiculous plot destroys any redeeming qualities this film has had. 6/10

Karan Johar, I hate you. Actually, I always hated you, but not as much as I hate you now. What the hell? This movie made me really mad for several reasons. And there was no story, period. I think I'm going to write you a very mean, hand-written letter to express my feelings.
