"If you must blink. Do it now." A fitting opening line for this jaw dropping stop motion movie. The level of creativity and care that went into this film seems like it would have taken 10, or 12 years to commit to. In my opinion the visuals created in this film are at the very peak of cinematic animated history, only parallel to the Final Fantasy XV: The Kingsglaive. The flawless visuals in conjunction with the brilliant voice casting and serene score truly meld together to make an epic adventure that must be experienced.

At the start you don't really understand what you've just gotten yourself into, but then you can't take your eyes off the screen. Loved it!

"Kubo and the Two Strings" is a phenomenal stop-motion animated film that pretty much has every element of a epic fantasy movie. It's filled with such adventure, excitement, and heart and shows that Laika is one of the best animation studio working today. The animation in this film is incredible beyond words! It truly shows how stop-motion can be one of the most creative forms of animation and every single bit of this movie is gorgeous. The characters and story really surprised me by all being incredible. The story feels like something stripped right from a fantasy epic and the characters are so creative and fleshed out. This movie is also highly original and feels like a passion project from everyone involved in the making of this movie. This film is what would happen a stop-motion film, an anime film, and a fantasy RPG had a very creative baby. If you enjoy animation as an art form and want to see more original ideas in Hollywood, then please go check out this film in theaters.
