Just Before Dawn (1981)

In the Oregon mountains, a pair of hunters encounter a machete-wielding killer in an abandoned church. Meanwhile, five campers arrive to examine some property one of them has inherited but are warned by the forest ranger not to venture forth. Soon after they set up camp, they begin hearing strange noises, encounter a mysterious singing girl and start disappearing one by one.

quality movie, stalk & slask, but differnt enough, with a genuine ending youd go "whoo, didnt expect that" even though ive told you still lol.

A real good work of craftmanship, JBD surpasses the usual slasher with it's beautiful cinematography and wonderful mountain/forest-locations. Plus we get a nice twist and a really disturbingly freakish killer.

just what it says on the label. fun fun fun. specially when watched in the cinema with a bunch of people laughing at the jokes and gorey scenes! epic moments, like the 80s 'sexy' dancing, and the first killing, and the twin killer... and the choking by fisting!! hahaaaaa brilliant.

Grindhouse Friday is among is us again and what better way to celebrate then with a good o'l 80's slasher flick...Though this guy was not as well known as Jason, Freddy or Michael, he still got the job done...with a little help from his kin......... SEE: Gorgeous woman get taken down one by one!!! SEE: George Kennedy scream "Stop you kids!!" SEE: Jack Lemons son in crazy 80's tube socks... and sooooooo much more...This actually does have some god moments and creepy shit going on....but low budget it is...so grab the kiddies and enjoy!!!!

One of the best horror movies from the early 1980's. Just as atmospheric and eerie as when I first seen it over 30 years ago.
