Funny, moving, smart, profound, beautiful; this is one of those movies I watch and think, "Man, I wish I made this movie." One of the best movies about Christianity ever made.

Revisiting this film, I almost forgot what a sweet allegory it is. One of the best films about theater I've seen in a while (it is a film more about theater than religion). Had Jesus come today, he probably would have been treated to the same fan adulation that the actor playing Jesus does in this film. A very simple but fascinating film, with excellent performances. See it!

I saw this movie with Rob and Daegen at the Broadway Theatre...it is moving, and thought provoking and extremely well done...excellent Canadian film
