A rich and intriguing film from Quebec that engages the story of Jesus Christ in a modern setting on many different levels.

Funny, moving, smart, profound, beautiful; this is one of those movies I watch and think, "Man, I wish I made this movie." One of the best movies about Christianity ever made.

Enough stuff to keep you interested for awhile.

A parable featuring clever parallels to the Easter story. Extra pleasures for those who know anything about Quebec culture.

Perhaps the best cinematic treatment of Jesus, by the best Canadian film-maker (as far as I know).
