Incredible psychological horror film,,,a great example of lighting, shadow, acting and a good script making a better horror film that the cheap gore we get today.

A surprisingly good and creepy thriller/horror film. I absolutey LOVED the camera-work and use of lighting. It made it very atmospheric and I really like that. I can't wait to watch more of the Val Lewton films :D

Cat People has forever lived under the radar, but is a highly influential film to modern cinema. The psychology and sexuality of the film was ground breaking, definitely my favorite of Val Lewton's. Plus, Simone Simon is absolutely sexy personified.
