I watched this movie at a screening at my school and was really impressed by it. It was an interesting way to tell a story and is unlike anything I've seen Jean Claude Van Damme do. The main story is fictional, but Jean Claude basically plays himself. Very well made film. Excellent acting. I would recommend this to just about anyone.

Obra prima do cinema pós-moderno. Apenas Van Damme poderia fazer esse filme, nesse momento de sua carreira, tendo vivido o que viveu.

I absolutely loved this film! It was so touching, dramatic, and so well done. The plot was very clever and I JCVD acted really well! I was so impressed with him in this film, I think I'm a re born Van Damme fan after this.

Van Damme is so good, and El Mechri's storytelling so entertaining, that JCVD takes its place alongside The Wrestler as one of the unlikeliest but most welcome comeback vehicles in ages.
