Dark Alibi (1946)

After three men are convicted of bank robberies, Charlie becomes suspicious. After some investigation Charlie finds the men are innocent and that the fingerprint evidence used to convict them had been forged. Charlie then proceeds to find the true bank robbers.

Amusing enough Charlie Chan venicle here as Chan has to figure out who is resposnsible for a robbery and murder, even though the man the police have matches the fingerprints at the crime scene! Birmingham Brown and Charlie Chan's son, whichever one it is, are also along for the ride. Not bad, not particulariy great either, especially when I began to think of his previous adventures during the War.

...the only highlights of the film are several exchanges between Mantan Moreland's character and his brother in the film played by Ben Carter.
