A couple of the worlds acting elite in a very early film for both of them. This is an excelent story of love and lust in the middle of nowhere, Spain. It's pretty funny and, of course, pretty raunchy, so much so I had to abandon my plans to watch this on a flight about two minutes in.

Penelope Cruz in her movie debut. Also making it's debut, a stirring in my loins. Apparently this is supposed to be a comedy, but I find it quite dark. Cruz's boyfriend is obsessed with her breasts. Why wouldn't he be? Interesting to note that Penelope is currently dating her co-star in this, Javier "No Country for Old Men" Bardem, a good 16 years later.

a movie full of affairs and taboo relationships.. the ending was laughable..
