When a prominent art dealer is found murdered, the man's death leads to an intriguing investigation steeped in sex, corruption and crime. Back when erotic thrillers were the thing in Hollywood this came in and out like a short fart, forgetful and without a stink, worth a rent but you can forget it after. Don't know why this movie always ended up on DVD or BluRay

i remember REALLY digging Jade back in 1996 when this hit VHS. Watching it for the second or third time this many yrs later i wonder why i liked it so much. It still is a good entertaining...kinda perverted flick but really Linda Fiorentino isn't all that special to look at, hardly any real nudity or graphic sex to be had - maybe i just find it tame this many yrs later. This still has a cool cast - i like Caruso although other than him kicking ass on N.Y.P.D. Blue, i don't find him overtly convincing in the tough guy cop role. I wish Crenna was in this more - he's slimy as hell in the brief time he is on screen. Nice car chase through San Fran's Chinatown.
