By far the single best animated film I've seen. Thought provoking, deeply moving and extremely complex. it's like nothing I've seen before. It deserves more notice, as an absolute masterpiece of not only animated films but of film in general. The story is simple, but the way it's conveyed, the way the story develops, it's, simply put, utterly beautiful. A breathtaking, joyous, sad, funny, inspiring, dark and exceptionally well written piece of utter genius that I will never forget. Experience it. It's well worth the search.

Profound, gorgeous, and painstakingly animated, "It's Such a Beautiful Day" closes out Hertzfeldt's trilogy with grace and intelligence, cementing the trio's place in film history.

the most moving, resonant cinematic experience i've ever had. i think i'll need to see it a few more times, but for now this ranks as one of the greatest films i've seen in my short time here, if not simply the greatest.

This is a phenomenal trilogy of chapters. This is quite possibly the best movie I've ever seen. It's so well voiced and animated and it's really unique.
