Unfettered freedom is a source of dismay to the Roman homicide detective... He wants to have limits, he simply doesn't know where they are.

What a great movie about corruption and abuse of power. It wags its finger critically without losing anything in the storytelling. One of the best buildups to one of the best finales I've seen in a long time.

A metà tra un giallo di Hitchcock e una satira politica, questo film mi ha lasciata completamente a bocca aperta. Le scelte registiche, l'originale storia, il modo scelto per fare satira del clima politico italiano negli anni '70 e i bellissimi personaggi-macchietta sono solo alcune delle cose che rendono questo film un piccolo capolavoro del cinema italiano. E non solo.
