Don't know what to make of this one....if its true that the police do this to people who are inocent then that in itself is quite shocking...but then...yep, i'm a bit confused about the film still!....as a lot of people have typed...did he do it or didn;t he???....but Its always great to see morgan freeman and gene hackman.

I really enjoyed this film, especially since it features Hackman and Freeman going mano-a-mano with a rich, layered and ever twisting script. This is a crime drama more along the lines of "12 Angry Men", with most of the action taking place in Freeman's office. If you like your crime dramas with lots of action and formulaic endings, you'll probably not like this. But if you enjoy watching actors actually act, without the aid of explosions or CG animation, you will enjoy this. Subject material might not be suitable for younger than 15, but the film is more suggestive than literal in is depiction.

It's hard to imagine anyone walking out of this movie satisfied, regardless of Hackman's and Freeman's solid performances.

Not going to be everyone's cup of tea this one, but I loved it. Tense, suspenseful drama. Two fantastic actors showing that all you need is a room and a table to make a movie. If you're going to watch it give it your whole attention otherwise you'll lose the plot very easily. Well worth a watch though.
