One of the best movies out there, but I mean, it's Kazan...what would you expect?

Wow, hasn't aged a bit. I still have personal problems with Elia Kazan, but this is quite the picture.

Forgotten masterpiece. Fantastic study of celebrity, media, power. 50+ yrs old and not dated.

Now right here, we have Elia Kazan giving us a masterpiece that most definitely won't be forgotten for what it is.

An all time classic, Andy Griffith gives one of the great performances in the history of cinema. He was so good that he retreated into television never again wanting to plunge the emotional depths that Kazan demanded. As a commentary on the power of media it seems more trenchant today then when it was released.
