You can see that media figured out how to manipulate the public back in 1957, I am sure that paved the way for what passes as entertainment today.

I have no idea how I have gone this long without seeing this movie. It's fifty five years old, but it sounds like it could have been written in the past decade. Andy Griffith is fantastic as Lonesome Rhodes, a far, far different character than Andy Taylor.

Wow. This is the grandfather of "Network" and "Bob Roberts," and every great actor is in it. A must see for everyone.
